Karin's daily life

 Last Saturday was Christmas. Who did you Christmas with? I was held a Christmas party with my friends. The food was so delicious and photogenic. After luch, we watched "Charlie and the Chocolate factory". This movie has nothing to do with Christmas, but it is very exciting to watch with friends! It was my first Christmassince I started living alone, and I had a wonderful time.

 I went to Sendai last week, and I went to dinner with my old friend. We went to Ooyama which is the motsunabe restaurant. This restaurant recommends miso soup which exquisitely blends several types of miso soup as Kyusyu miso and Saikyo miso, and adds OOYAMA original sause. And my recommendation is Kyusyu's local fruits soda. The restaurant origined in Fukuoka, and there are in other prefecture. If you find this restaurant, please try it!!

Last Tuesday, I went to Teishokuya and eat the fried oysters after the class. My hometown, Miyagi prefecture, is famous for oysters and I used to eat them every autumn. But I have not eaten them yet this year. So when I found the fried oysters, I was very exciting. After lunch, I went to a cafe to eat ice cream. I have wanted to eat it since I discovered it on Instagram. It was so delicious and looks cute!! There are a lot of great restaurants and cafes in East Ward that many university students don't know about. I want to discover a nice restaurant.

Last Thursday,  I went to Starbucks. I drank Toasted White Chocolate  Frappuccino. I like chocolate very much, so I have wanted to drink it. Recently, We've been able to top it with a Santa bearlista made of chocolate. Its looks and taste are so good!! I want to drink a hot version. I hope you all get there before Christmas.

  My artifact is an amulet that was made by friends of mine at cram school about 4 years ago. It is made of Polka dot cloth, light blue thread, and a 5 yen coin. Its size is about 8cm. I went to a cram school w hen I was a junior high school student . Despite my cram school friends being different junior high school students, we have been friendly through studying hard. Before the high school entrance exam, Himari, who is a cram school friend, made and gave me one.  I was very happy because I felt she would cheer me on and I can become a good friend. Some of my friends, Kei and Haruna,  took the same high school exam. They are more clever than me.  So I thought many times that I may not go to high school with them.  But they told me “I want to go there with you!” and “You can do it!!” I decided to study harder and said “I'm definitely going to the same high school as you two.” When I went to high school on examination day, I noticed it was a different class for ...

  Last Monday, I had a hot pot party with my friends.  I have a craving for a hot pot in the winter, so we eat a hot pot every week.  And it's always better to eat nabe with someone else than alone. This hot pot is Tori Dango Nabe. The ingredients for this pot are  Chinese cabbage, enoki, buna-shimeji, green onion, tofu, and chicken balls. It was so delicious:) I want to try different kinds of hot pot, so if you have any recommendations, please let me know!
